Welcome to Berlitz Dublin
Where are we?
Berlitz Language Centre is located in the city centre, in an exclusive district near government buildings, well served by public transport.
Most of the buildings here are fine examples of Georgian architecture with bright rooms and high ceilings. The National Museum, National Art Gallery and National Library are just around the corner, while Merrion Square with its lovely park is a perfect spot for a lunchtime stroll. Grafton Street, the exclusive shopping street of the capital, is a five-minute walk away. At the end of Grafton Street, you will find St Stephen's Green, an oasis of peace amid the bustling city, with its ponds, fountains, flower beds, lawns and paths.
In the other direction, you will find Sweny's Chemist, where Leopold Bloom bought his lemon soap (in Ulysses by James Joyce, a former English instructor at Berlitz). Another two minutes' walk and you will see the railings of the world-renowned Trinity College, founded in 1592, important also for the significant role it has played in Irish political and religious history. For evening entertainment, Temple Bar beckons with its many pubs, restaurants, clubs and discos. A wide variety of theatres, concert venues and cinemas is also easily accessible.
Your Berlitz Team will provide you with information on a range of activities to make your stay in Dublin as enjoyable as possible. We will be delighted to assist with any questions you may have.
